We have many years of experience, but we never forget how daunting even simply selecting the metal and choosing the diamond can be for the uninitiated! How are you supposed to know what you are looking for? Even the terms can be confusing: What carat of metal will give the best result? Which quality of diamond is needed? How large should the stone be? Is colour more important than clarity? The questions quickly stack up and without guidance and advice, they can ultimately divert the best laid plans into a swamp of indecision. At 360 we pride ourselves on straight talking, clear advice, tailored to deliver the information that you need to make the best choices for your project.
Having got you sitting comfortably, we will guide you through the process one step at a time. From your initial brief we should have a rough idea what will work best, but we will explain the key parts of a diamond then show you a handful of stones, allowing you to choose your preferred one. Whatever you seek, we can find the perfect diamond!
Once you have chosen a stone and metal that you love, we switch into design mode: Perhaps you have been inspired by jewellery you have seen on the catwalk, online or even on Instagram, or maybe you already have the perfect design simply drawn in biro on the back of an envelope? Fear not! Our team are experts in making even the vaguest ideas into firm realities. We are flexible and skilled in choosing and applying the best techniques for each individual project. This may involve hand making the piece from scratch in our Hatton Garden workshop, or it could even involve producing a 3D print of a cast that is then worked on at the bench. We always go the extra mile to make each piece perfect and unique and your approval will be sought at every stage.
All of our bespoke work is carefully supervised by myself and checked by the skilled craftsmen in our workshop. We constantly strive for precision and perfection and a long line of satisfied customers demonstrates that we never let one down!
When designing wedding rings, we love to work up unique designs with our couples. Unusual shapes, special engravings and unique set stones have all featured in our previous work, but with a wedding ring, comfort is also key since it is to be worn daily. This means that the 360 team have quietly become masters of understated style and detail.
We first select the band shape since this is key, but after that, the design can go any way you choose: Some men don’t like shiny polished bands and instead opt for a heavy brushed finish or anything in between. Likewise, ladies often want to match their wedding band to their engagement ring so they fit snugly together and can be comfortably worn simultaneously. It is always important that engagement and wedding rings compliment each other in appearance and / or style and this is something we are always mindful of.
